The Love Story:

"Ronny and I met in the summer of 2015 after I moved back to my hometown from college. We worked together in an after-school program and quickly became friends. By the end of summer, we were inseparable, and three months later, we were officially dating! We enjoyed going on Disney dates, visiting our local county fair, and going to the movies all the time. We both knew we found forever in each other when we took a trip to Cabo San Lucas in the summer of 2017. After that trip, Ronny secretly planned an engagement surprise where he gathered all our family and closest friends. His cover story was that he made dinner reservations for his birthday."

"On January 1st, 2018, Ronny's birthday, he picked me up for dinner only to take me to a friend's house where all our family and friends were waiting. Ronny played a music video that he and his brother filmed for me. The video was a compilation of him lip-syncing one of our favorite songs ('Adorn' by Miguel) and video footage of us on a date at Santa Monica Pier. We had filmed that footage a month prior to the proposal for his brother's video portfolio, but in actuality, it was for the proposal video he was planning, and I had no idea. At the end of the music video, Ronny is seen picking out a ring at Mark Schneider's Fine Jewelry in Long Beach, CA, and that's when I realized he was proposing!"

"Yes, it took me the entire video to realize what was happening. When the video ended, he took my hand and walked me to the center of the patio where he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was the sweetest proposal, and it really meant a lot that our families and friends were there to witness and share that special night with us. That video is still on YouTube today for us to look back to and one day get to show our kids. Our love story is not perfect, but a constant factor in our relationship has always been Ronny's romantic gestures."

The dress! Tell us why you chose your gown.

"I knew the LIVIE gown was the one when I walked out to the viewing room and looked in the mirror. I felt like a true bride in the dress, and the floral embroidered lace that cascades down the tulle made a perfect statement. The dress felt romantic and the mermaid style really complimented my figure, it fit like a glove!"

"One of my favorite things about this dress was the tulle skirt because it eliminated a long train while still giving the bottom of the dress the perfect touch. What truly called me to this gown was the embroidered lace as it was not overwhelming at all and looked very feminine and pretty! Everything about it was perfect! I am so happy that I found this dress and couldn't imagine wearing another on my wedding day."

Do you have a favorite memory from your wedding day?

"My favorite wedding day memory is definitely reading our vows to each other. I cried the entire time listening to Ronny's vows and also cried a lot when I read mine to him. I always share that our wedding ceremony was very emotional, I've never cried so many happy tears before, and didn't really know that was a thing until then. Reading our vows truly explained the love we have for each other to not only us, but to all our family and friends present. It was one of the most special moments of our wedding."
