Taylor & Brian's Love Story

"Our story began in the hallways of our high school when we were 14 and 15 years old. In 2009, we met through mutual friends with the intentions of helping them break the ice between one another to foster a new relationship. Little did we know after a few months of helping them break the ice, it broke the ice for us too. Our new-found friendship shortly turned into a blossoming relationship, and as cliché as it is… the rest was history. Throughout the years, not only have we grown into the people we are today which we are so incredibly proud of, but we've grown together. It has been an absolute pleasure of our lives to see each other in all of our phases, in all of our learning moments, and in all of our accomplishments. Since September 9th 2023, we've been making new history together as husband and wife, and we're loving every minute of it!"

Why did you choose ALYSON as your wedding dress?

"When thinking about my wedding day, I always knew I wanted to wear a gown that was classic and elegant with a little bit of fun and flair to embody my personalty. After trying on the Love Alyson, I fell in love! It was the perfect combination of what I was looking for from the sweetheart bodice to the beautiful train with the gorgeous button detailing. When I saw the puffed sleeves that accompanied the dress, I thought about the various ways I could style the dress on the day of, and knew immediately after trying them on that the Love Alyson was the dress for me. The dress reminded me of youthfulness, joy, elegance, and fun, which is exactly how I'd describe our special day!"

What was the most memorable moment from your wedding?

"If I had to chose my favorite memory of our wedding day, it would have to be that post-ceremony, 'just married' feeling when we had a private moment together eating some cocktail hour food before going to greet our guests. It was the first time we were truly alone that day where we were able to take a breath and look at each other in a new light as a married couple! Aside from that, having every person that we love and cherish all together in one place, on one day, in celebration of us was surreal!"

What advice would you like to share with other brides-to-be?

"Allow yourself to be present and to not only soak in the different aspects of the day, but soak in how everything is making you feel. Stay close to your spouse throughout the cocktail hour and reception, eat the cake, sing on the mic if the band points it in your direction, and remain on the dance floor for as long as humanly possible because in a flash it'll be over, so seize the day!"
