Set in a luxury rustic barn, we travel to the stunning Surrey Hills countryside for Enzoani's latest styled shoot. Directed and photographed by Sammy Taylor, we are whisked away to the Barn at Botley Hill as it is transformed into a contemporary backdrop.
What was the inspiration behind the shoot?
I really wanted to display the most beautiful gown, with a jaw-dropping train, amongst some stunning and unique floral displays.

What was the highlight of your day from the shoot?
The highlight is always when I see all my intricate ideas and details come together, and it’s usually the first moment I start shooting the content. I get really excited how it all looks in harmony.

What is your favorite photo from the shoot?
This photo for me is simply stunning. It encapsulates exactly all ideas in one shot; how the dress is twisted, mixed with the composition of the flowers is so eye-catching. (See below!)

How did you get into photography? Why weddings?
Taking photos was always my biggest hobby since 11years old. I just one day decided to buy myself a pro camera, and I haven’t stopped shooting since. I started with capturing sweet portraits of my children and posting them on social media.

It very quickly earned me the attention of many brides-to-be getting in touch, asking me if I would be their wedding photographer. And given that I am also a hopeless romantic, capturing love stories and weddings seemed to be a no-brainer, and it most certainly was!

How did you get into photography? Why weddings? (cont.)
I love capturing emotion, details, timeless moments and bringing them all to life in a gallery. The satisfaction of looking after such a huge aspect of a couple’s day is priceless to me.
How would you describe your style?
Romantic, natural and storytelling as opposed to any staging. I edit with warm tones and focus my attention to details and capturing moments worthy to be framed.
What's one of the most memorable weddings you have done to date?
Gosh, there have been SO many. I adore traveling, so that always amps up my creative juices. I love fun bridal parties; energy is so important, so if you’re having a blast, then so am I! I remember mostly free-spirited couples who are just so up for having fun and getting creative with me. I recently had the coolest cowboy themed wedding, and it was EPIC!!!

Your favorite moment to photograph?
Couple shots. I whisk the couple off for 20 minutes, and for them, they can take a deep breath away from the overwhelming and busy parts of their day and just RELAX.

I enjoy telling a few cheesy jokes and just having a little ‘pause’ with them, whilst I snap away. Encouraging them to just enjoy being together in that precise moment and soak it all up and embrace what is happening. Precious moments captured forever!

Anything else you would like to share?
Ooh, yes… As you can imagine, as a wedding photographer, I follow A LOT of bridal content on social media. I have literally been stalking the designs of Enzoani for years now, so for me to get a feature is pretty insaaaaane!! I will also marry my fiancé this year in an Enzoani gown (whhhaaaat) – Can’t wait!
