Nestled in Ireland, Pearls and Lace has become more than just a bridal boutique. It’s a place where love stories begin, happy tears are welcomed and lifelong memories are made. Founded by Carole and supported by a passionate team including Nollaig, Noreen, Trisha, Emma, Kristina, Catherina and Chloe, the boutique first opened its doors in December 2014.

Now, celebrating over 10 wonderful years in business, Pearls and Lace is reflecting on a journey filled with thousands of “yes!” moments and unforgettable brides. Born from Carole’s own post-wedding love affair with the bridal world, the boutique was founded with a clear vision: to create a warm, welcoming, and truly special experience for every bride-to-be.

What would you recommend a bride to do before/while shopping for her perfect gown?

"One of the best things a bride can do before starting her dress shopping journey is to keep an open mind and enjoy the process.

It’s great to gather some inspiration—save photos, follow designers you love, and think about the vibe of your wedding—but also be open to trying on styles you might not have considered. So often, the dress that steals your heart is one you didn’t expect!

We also always recommend bringing just a small, trusted group whose opinions truly matter to you—especially those who make you feel calm, confident, and supported.

And most importantly, don’t overthink it. When you find your dress, you’ll feel it. It’s not about perfection—it’s about how it makes you feel in that moment ✨"
