Hot Trends for 2016

Following Bridal Buyer magazine's recent article, 'Five Trends to Watch Out for at Harrogate', we've decided to share what we think will be hot for 2016!

COLOURS

Bridal Buyer believes that while shades of ivory will, of course, be key to many collections, there will be exciting pops of colour running throughout. 

In an recent interview with Enzoani designer Kang Chun 'KC' Lin, he said, "For the 2016 collection we wanted to incorporate new ideas, like blush and champagne colour options for gowns like BT16-4 and BT16-12 from our Beautiful collection. It just adds something refreshing and unique."

Beautiful style BT16-12 (Below Left) with its flowing layers of soft blush tulle are only made more romantic and feminine in this ethereal A-Line gown by an illusion sweetheart neckline, illusion back, and lovely corded lace bodice. Blue by Enzoani’s Irma (Below Middle) with its gorgeous scalloped sweetheart neckline and low back with beaded spaghetti straps is perfect for highlighting every bride's beautiful figure on the big day. BT16-04 (Below Right) from the Beautiful collection is the picture of sophistication, and sure to wow from the front and back. Corded lace tulle and a sweetheart illusion neckline are perfectly complemented with re-embroidered scalloped hem lace and a low U-shaped illusion back.

SILHOUETTES

Bridal Buyer also expects fishtails to continue to be significant styles; however, they will be refined to give a softer outline. Meanwhile, fit-and-flare is expected to score points along with A-lines expected to be very important this season. 

KC says, ‘’The 2015 collections were softer, but this season is all about bringing out something that could be considered more of our 'signature,' because we did those kinds of things the first few seasons. This season is much more dramatic, with a lot more horsehair dresses, new lace detailing, and dramatic silhouettes. The skirt is more ‘wow!’ 

Fit & Flare - Enzoani style Kelsi (Below Middle) is an update on the most timelessly elegant and flattering Enzoani silhouette. This full-length mermaid gown features gorgeous Guipure lace and corded lace over the softest tulle skirt with scalloped hem lace and a classic sweetheart neckline. Iberia (Below Right) from the Blue by Enzoani collection with its asymmetrical, soft tulle ruched bodice & sweetheart neckline is the perfect complement to an ultra-feminine mermaid skirt. Elegant Blue by Enzoani style Irvine (Below Left is given extra flair with a gorgeously dramatic tiered trumpet skirt with horsehair hem below an intricate beaded corded lace bodice with romantic sweetheart neckline.

Fishtail - For instant jaw-dropping elegance and drama, Enzoani style Kenzi (Below Middle) certainly fits the bill. Rich satin is enhanced with intricate embroidered lace and silver beading, while a skirt of tulle beautifully cascades into a glamorous and dreamy train...sophisticated and full of flair. A fishtail skirt with stunning layers of soft tulle adds the perfect amount of drama and sophistication to the stylish Kendra (Below Left) from the Enzoani collection, and the dress is complete with an ultra-flattering sweetheart neckline and an incredible train with embroidered lace appliqués. Blue by Enzoani’s Ivalo (Below Right) has a strikingly stunning asymmetrical ruched tulle bodice and gorgeous sparkling beaded cap sleeves. This mermaid gown is undoubtedly sure to make every bride the star of the show. A romantic sweetheart neckline and soft, dramatic tulle layers in the skirt are just as breathtaking as the low keyhole back.

A-Line - All the classic beauty and femininity of a universally flattering A-line style is updated in the Kimberly (Below Middle) from the Enzoani collection; the dreamiest soft tulle skirt is a perfect match with a romantic sweetheart neckline. Ipswich (Below Left) from the Blue by Enzoani collection with its classic A-line silhouette with a dreamy, voluminous tulle skirt and sweetheart neckline is updated with an ultra-sultry illusion back, providing the perfect balance of sweetness and sexiness. With an A-Line skirt fit for a fairytale, BT16-24 (Below Right) also features a corded lace and Chantilly lace bodice; a soft sweetheart neckline provides the finishing touch to create the most romantic look.

SLEEVES

Bridal Buyer features cap sleeves as the current trending topic on every style menu, but three-quarter and bracelet lengths will be found in the statement-making collections. 

Kacey (Below Left) from the Enzoani collection epitomises vintage glamour and timeless elegance. Adorned with beaded, embroidered lace appliqués, the 3/4-sleeved tulle jacket features a delicate button back closure. The jacket completes a sophisticated look perfect for any era and occasion, from an Old Hollywood red carpet to a modern day trip down the aisle. BT16-01 (Below Right) from the Beautiful collection is for the timeless bride looking for a classic silhouette mixed with modern details and elegant coverage: a tulle A-line gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, dropped waist, and ¾ sleeved corded lace tulle jacket.

BACKS

Bridal Buyer states that daringly low plunges or stylistic illusion backs where overlays of lace appliqués form a tattoo of detail will be among the top looks for 2016.

Striking, sophisticated, and stylish from front to back - the illusion sweetheart halter neckline on the Enzoani style Kamila (Below Middle) is the perfect match to the corded lace and lightly beaded, embroidered lace and tulle skirt. A walk down the aisle will never be more stunning than in the Blue by Enzoani style Inverness (Below Left). This mermaid gown featuring an illusion sweetheart neckline and keyhole back with pearl buttons elegantly extending down the length of the train is sure to turn heads coming and going. Iridescent and structured Mikado fabric on the gorgeous BT16-02 (Below Right) serves as the perfect canvas for ultra-romantic detailing: a sweetheart illusion neckline, a beautifully ornate illusion back & pearl buttons elegantly extending down the length of the train.

FABRICS

Bridal Buyer believes that layers of tulle create light-as-air volume, but the satins, chiffons and yes, lace, remain centre stage.

Layers of Tulle - Look no further than the Blue by Enzoani style Idah (Below Right), to embody romance and drama on the big day. A sweetheart neckline and delicate scattered beading on corded lace over a dropped waist bodice perfectly balance the voluminous tulle and organza ruffled skirt. Blue by Enzoani style Ibanda (Below Left) features a gorgeous 3D Guipure lace bodice with sweetheart neckline and scattered beading, as well as the most beautiful two-tiered tulle and horsehair skirt.

Satin - Sleek, chic, and ornate all at the same time, Kassidy (Below Left) features a romantic sweetheart neckline bodice with intricately beaded, embroidered lace and corded Chantilly lace that gracefully tapers down to the richest satin skirt. Both timeless and contemporary, Blue by Enzoani style Ingenio (Below Right) embodies romance and glamour, and features a sweetheart neckline with delicate beaded appliques and detachable beaded cap sleeves.

Lace - Kendall (Below Left) from the Enzoani collection is a modern debut of luxurious Alencon lace and corded Chantilly lace on a classically beautiful mermaid silhouette. This full-length gown also features a romantic sweetheart neckline and delicate scalloped hem lace on the tulle skirt. Beautiful style BT16-09 (Right) is sure to turn heads from the front and back. This stretch lace mermaid gown features not only a soft sweetheart neckline and illusion lace straps, but also scalloped hem lace and a stunning low illusion back.

Chiffon - Old Hollywood glam meets modern elegance in Ingwiller (Below Right) from Blue by Enzoani.  A mesh chiffon sheath gown featuring a high halter neckline and Guipure lace, Ingwiller also boasts a keyhole back to make it just as stunning from the rear view. Ibarra (Below Left) from the Blue by Enzoani collection is simply breathtaking from both the front and back.  A mesh chiffon and corded lace sheath gown includes a unique sweetheart scalloped neckline, delicately beaded, sparkling appliques, an ultra-flattering bloused bodice, and an intricate lace beaded applique accenting the train.
