#EnzoaniRealBride: Simone & Kelvin
Romantic Elegance inspired Winter Wedding
On the 9th of August 2014, Simone and Kelvin married at the Boulevard 44 Boutique Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Simone described the winter wedding's theme as romantic elegance. Simone wore Beautiful style BT14-10.
Simone: "I had tried on about 10 wedding dresses before I found THE wedding dress. I was looking for something slightly fitted with a small train and attention to detail. My mom actually saw the dress for me and suggested I try it on. Honestly it took my breath away and made me feel like a princess… which is what every girl wants to experience on her wedding day."

"It was a while back when our love story began...to be exact, 7 years!"
It was in February 2007 when Kelvin met Simone at 1st year varsity. The attraction was instant and thankfully mutual. The couple started the usual way... movies, dinner, chocolates. After a month or so, Simone asked Kelvin, "So... are we boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Kelvin replied "No, I haven’t asked you out yet!" Not a few days later, Kelvin arrived at Simone's home and hands her a bunch of roses. Kelvin then proclaimed his love to Simone and says, "I will love you until the last rose dies." Know-it-all Simone pipes up, "You do know that roses die in 7 days?" Kelvin smoothly replied, "That’s why I placed a fake rose in the middle of the bunch that will last forever!" And to this day, the very same rose is yet to lose a single petal.

In 2012, after 5 years of dating, Kelvin plucked up the courage and set up a sunset picnic on the beach with champagne, strawberries and a shiny new diamond ring... It was there he asked the girl of his dreams to marry him. After what felt like an unusually long pause, Simone said YES!!! And so the planning of the big day began.... It is this year 2014 on the 9th of August that Kelvin & Simone started a brand new chapter in their lives. They publically announced their LOVE for each other and got the chance to say, "I do!"

Simone: "My most memorable moment was definitely the speeches! Hearing your parents, friends and most importantly your husband sharing fun and loveable memories in front of all your close friends and family was by far the most emotional and special feeling."

"If I had to give some advice, I would say, try to get as much done before that week before you get married; for some reason that week before is emotional and stressful. Don’t sweat the small stuff on the day, relax and remember it’s all about marrying the man of your dreams! Have fun! It’s the best day of your life!"
