"My husband and I have been together for almost 15 years, since 2008, and our wedding day has been a day we've always dreamed of. When we first met, it really was love at first sight – well, it was for my husband, anyway. It wasn’t all plain sailing from the start, and he served his lengthy sentence in the friendzone -- bless him! Eventually, his persistence paid off. Anyone that knows my husband will know he is is, as he would put it, 'irritatingly competitive,' and when it came to trying to win my heart, he was never giving up. We quickly fell in love, and the rest is history. We've watched each other grow into the people we are today, travelled 14 different countries together, bought our first flat at 24 and 25, and we now have a honeymoon baby on the way!"

How did you choose your wedding dress?
"I always imagined I would go for a minimal, satin ball gown style, and I'm sure like most brides, I went in the opposite direction. The Peach gown just fitted in all the right places and mixed a sexy feel whilst also keeping the dress elegant at the same time. It added the touch of difference I didn't know I was looking for, and a plain cathedral veil was the perfect compliment to the sequinned floral embroidery and Chantilly lace that made up the most perfect dress, especially in great lighting. I initially tried on the ivory/beige combination and decided to order the ivory/ivory for a more bridal feel."

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
"Our favourite memories from the wedding were when we first saw each other down the aisle. It was significant to us in the journey we've been on over the last 15 years, after having to postpone our wedding due to Covid and finally seeing this day we'd dreamt of all our lives come together. Our first dance was also a memorable moment for us as our toastmaster was a good friend of the artist who sang our first dance song, and so we were surprised when Luke Burr introduced us as a couple to his song, 'Is This Love' -- it really felt like it was just the two of us on the dance floor."

Do you have any advice for other brides?
"Savour every moment of your day, and kindly ask one of your guests to film your ceremony and take photos on a high-res phone -- this gave us instant memories whilst we waited for our professional photos and videographer, and was the most special footage we could have asked for."
