From being office crushes to husband and wife, Christina and Vince share a movie-worthy love story that included a romantic wedding at the lush, green Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Share your love story with us...

"Vince and I both met as coworkers at an accounting firm in Tallahassee, Florida. Although Vince claims he had a crush on me early on, we didn't hit it off until I asked my coworker and now- officiant, Demorris, to wingman for me! Sure enough, Vince claimed he was 'taking applications' for a girlfriend, and Vince called my desk phone to invite me to come to his desk and exchange numbers. We went on our first date shortly after at an arcade bar in Tallahassee in January 2017.

After college, I moved back to my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida to be near my family which lead to two years of long-distance between Tallahassee and Jacksonville. In 2019, Vince made the move to Jacksonville, and then we moved in together. In 2020, we got our furry son Ollie, and in June of 2021, Vince popped the question to seal the deal!

Our love is easy. Our personalities are the perfect balance, we are each other's biggest supporters, and our love is unconditional. We have been by each other's sides for some extremely tough times and also very happy moments. We were each other's first love, and plan to be each other's last love too."

What made you choose ATHÉNAÏS x Édition as your wedding dress?

"As a curvy woman, I was nervous about going wedding dress shopping. While many dresses seek to hide curves, this one did just the opposite. The form-fitting lace made me feel sexy and confident with my curves, and accentuated my natural shape. Not only did it make me feel good about my figure, but the detailed layers and beautiful sparkles and lace made me feel elegant and beautiful. The incredible train was just icing on the cake!"

What was the most memorable moment of your special day?

"In the six years of dating Vince, I have never once seen him shed a tear despite going through many losses and hardships together. During our first look, Vince bawled his eyes out, and continued to do so for the entirety of the wedding. Although I hate to think of him crying as my favorite memory, it truly just shows how much this day meant for us. Our first look, sharing our vows in front of our family and friends, and our many dances were extremely special to me and something I will cherish forever!"

"My dad suffered from early onset Alzheimer's and passed away in 2020. Vince helped take care of my dad and helping to support my family. He was my rock. My matron of honor used to spend a lot of time with my dad, and kept notes of things he said about Vince and shared them with us for the first time in her MOH toast. We couldn't believe that she kept those for years and we never knew. One of the quotes was my dad saying, 'I think Christina is going to marry Vince' in October 2018. This speech was the greatest gift I've ever received and will forever live in a special place in my heart."

Any advice you'd like to share with other brides?

"There is so much expectation around the 'perfect' wedding, especially now with social media. Although I am so thankful for the hard work to make this wedding as beautiful as it was, my favorite moments had nothing to do with the aesthetic or look. It was the special moments between the people I love and that is what I will carry with me for life."
