The Love Story:

"While Jacob and Paige share the same alma mater, it wasn’t until four years into Jacob’s career and Paige two years into hers that they were reintroduced to each other in a new state. A two hour drive and a bottle of wine later, and the rest is history. In a matter of three months, Paige moved out of the city into a newly remodeled farmhouse that Jacob had spent years designing. Jacob and his family farm in the Midwest and Florida throughout the year, while Paige travels the eastern US for her career."

"I’m not sure if we could count the number of plane tickets purchased or miles traveled over the last three years we have been together if we tried, but we always find a way to spend even just a moment together. The Dress:

"I had tried on multiple breathtaking designer dresses and the second I stepped into my ÉLYSÉE dress, I knew ‘the feeling.’ Followed by my nana mouthing the words, 'That is your dress,' which really meant a lot to me since we are always being told we share the same mannerisms, style and personality. With unique alterations to make the dress a sweetheart neckline and the addition of a simple long veil to not take away from the detail of the back of the dress, I knew I had created a one-of-a-kind look."

Most Memorable: 

"My absolute favorite memory on our wedding day is when we said our vows to each other. We had both prepared our own vows to each other, and I don’t recall ever listening to someone so intentionally, or time standing so still. It was a beautiful moment and I will cherish it forever."

Advice to other brides?

"Find a reputable wedding planner! While planning a wedding in another country immediately called for this, I cannot tell you how relaxing and enjoyable the entire day was, but also the months leading up to it. While I had a vision, my wedding planner elevated every detail. The entire day felt like a dream, every moment was a great surprise."
