"We met at church and stayed good friends for about two years, and then at his brother's wedding, he came up to me and asked me to dance. We spent that whole night talking and dancing, and at the end of the night, he walked me to my car and kissed me on the cheek goodnight! Then he began his intentional pursuit of me… When I was out of town for summer holidays, he would send me daily texts full of things about his day, and I would respond the same. We took time to fully get to know each other as friends first, and he quickly became my best friend. In August, we went on our first official date. A month later, I had a whole boyfriend; he brought me a dozen roses and wrote me the sweetest love note. We knew there was no one else we could imagine doing life with. He popped the big question in January of the following year!"
