"I was born in Brazil and moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to study acting. A year after that, I met Peter. We were both actors in this independent film, and our first time seeing each other was during the rehearsals. We were chatting, and I heard his last name, and I asked if he was Italian. He said yes, so I proceeded to speak Italian to him. Immediately he stops me, 'Oh, I'm not that Italian; I'm from Chicago.' We laughed, and he asked me if I didn't remember him. I thought it was a pickup line, so I said, 'No.' And he said, 'It's ok, give me time.' Later, he shared that he remembered me from another life. Unfortunately, the movie itself never happened since they ran out of funds, so we both joke that the rehearsals only existed so we could meet. Peter had long hair, which I wasn't very interested in, and I was also in a relationship at the time. So we became Facebook friends, but never really spoke after that. Fast forward to 2015, I had just ended a long-term relationship, and I promised myself that I wouldn't date anyone for a year 'cause I needed some 'me' time. Not even a month after that promise, Peter reached out. He wanted to meet for 'a coffee' and catch up on life. His hair was short and cute, and I knew I was in trouble. I resisted him for ten months, but he never gave up, so we eventually had our first date and haven't been apart since. We heard from several spiritual people that we are each other's soulmates. So it makes sense that he remembered me when he first saw me; I was a little behind on that. We have been together for seven years now, married for five months. The amount of growth that has happened for both of us is incredible. We are each other's best friends, travel the world often, work on ourselves and our relationship constantly, and take nothing for granted. Peter is the most generous, kind, and beautiful human being I know, and I feel fortunate to have found the love of my life."

Why did you choose KOH-I-NOOR as your wedding gown?
"Our wedding ceremony was at La Foce, one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, so I knew I had to get a dress just as unique. The villa is from the 15th century, very romantic, and meticulously cared for. I chose the Koh-I-Noor because it is bold, romantic, and powerful. It gave me royal vibes, and it was perfect for the venue. I saw a picture of the dress online when it wasn't even out yet. I found out that the only store near me that would carry it was Blush Bridal Couture in OC, so I made an appointment for the following year the second they got the dress. I walked in, tried it on, and knew immediately that it was it. They asked if I wanted to try anything else, and I did try on a couple more dresses to entertain my bridal party, but in my heart, the decision was made the second I saw that photo."
